For over 20 years, they owned and operated Amblewood Guest House in Hout Bay, where they became known for their warm hospitality, personal attention to guests, and creating a welcoming home-away-from-home experience for visitors from around the world.
Trevor spent most of his working career as a professional photographer, developing a strong eye for detail, presentation, and the beauty found in everyday moments and spaces. Today, he enjoys walking on the beach or in the mountains, spending time with friends, and appreciating the natural beauty and lifestyle of Hout Bay.
June worked as a professional journalist for more than 15 years before continuing her career in a freelance capacity. Her love for people, communication, and storytelling naturally flowed into the hospitality industry, where she and Trevor built lasting relationships with guests over many years. June also enjoys reading and values the meaningful connections made through hospitality and community.
Together, Trevor and June founded Holiday Home Management out of a desire to continue doing what they love — caring for homes, meeting people, staying active, and offering reliable, personal service with warmth and integrity. Their years of experience in hospitality, combined with their hands-on approach and trusted team, give homeowners confidence that their properties are cared for with professionalism and genuine attention.
